first step in learning to drive is to apply for your provisional
driving licence.
If you're preparing for or your first lesson, a read of the Highway Code would be a good idea, and you might also like to practise your Theory Test.
When you're ready to book your theory or practical tests, go to the Driving Standards Agency.
